As he has travels around the State of Utah, Governor Gary Herbert makes it a priority to visit with owners and employees at local businesses to discover how he can contribute to their future success.
June 11 - Fresenius Medical Care, Weber County
Governor Herbert tours Fresenius' 1 million-plus square foot facility in downtown Ogden. The Utah company is the world's largest provider of kidney dialysis products and services.
May 3 - Orbit Irrigation Products, Davis County
Governor Herbert tours Orbit Irrigation Products' North Salt Lake facility. The 40-year-old company produces products in the State of Utah, relying on the state's workforce and competitive manufacturing capabilities. The Governor praised the company for finding innovative ways to cope with the economic downturn and pledged the State's continued support.
April 26 - Bear River Co-Op, Box Elder County
Governor Gary Herbert meets Northern Utah residents to celebrate the expansion of the Bear River Co-Op in Corinne. The Governor hailed the expanded operations as a win for economic development in rural Utah and offered his support for future success.
April 6 - Petersen Inc., Weber County
Governor Herbert talks to an employee of Petersen Inc., one of the country's foremost manufacturing facilities, at the company's 780,000-square foot warehouse and distribution center in Ogden.
April 5 - Caf'e Rio, Salt Lake County
Governor Herbert visits with employees of the Caf'e Rio restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City. Caf'e Rio opened its first restaurant in St. George in 1997 and now operates 19 restaurants in Utah, and more than a dozen restaurants in five other states.
March 30 - CHG Healthcare Services, Salt Lake County
Governor Gary R. Herbert visits with executives at CHG Healthcare Services. The company employs more than 600 Utahns at its Holladay facility and recently opened a new Learning Center that will focus on workforce training and development.
