According to the latest Utah Export Report, the top exports are Metals, Computers and Electronics, Transportation Equipment, Food Products, and Chemicals.  Through November, Utah exports exceeded 11 billion dollars.

The Utah Division of Consumer Protection is releasing its annual list of shopping tips ahead of Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday retail events to keep consumers safe and informed when making holiday purchases.

The Utah Broadband Project has released the Utah Broadband Plan, which details strategies and key initiatives to help increase broadband deployment, adoption and connectivity throughout the State of Utah.

Gov. Herbert and Education Advisor Tami Pyfer met with student leaders at USU Eastern. The group discussed federal education requirements, higher ed. costs and ways Utah students could better prepare for college.

100,000 in 1,000 days

As the 1,000 days came to a close, the Governor announced that Utah businesses have added a total of 112,200 jobs, outpacing the Governor's goal by more than 10%.
