SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH-Utah Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. recently appointed seven people to the Fifth Judicial District Nominating Commission. The Fifth Judicial District consists of Millard, Beaver, Iron and Washington counties.

Each individual has been appointed to serve a four year term on the Judicial Nominating Commission. By state law, the bipartisan commission includes lawyers and non-lawyers.

McHugh has practiced since 1983 at Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless in Salt Lake City and was named partner in 1987. Her practice has focused on commercial litigation and environmental law.

Salt Lake City, Utah -- The results of an investigation of Community and Culture Interim Director Yvette Donosso Diaz were released today. The State Department of Public Safety (DPS) probe has found no evidence of any wrongdoing on the part of Ms. Diaz. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Diaz had hired a South American native to care for her children. Diaz was accused of knowing that this individual was an undocumented worker.
