5400 South Improved

UDOT has finished its improvement projects along 5400 South. The road has been resurfaced from Redwood Road to State Street. There have also been several improvements made at the intersection of 700 West and 5400 South.

Guardsman Pass and Sections of the Alpine Loop are already closed with additional closures anticipated for Monte Cristo and East Canyon. Learn more from UDOT traffic.

The next project includes a new intersection at Bluff Street and Sunset Boulevard, the widening of Bluff Street between Sunset Boulevard and St George Boulevard, and some modifications to the St George Boulevard Intersection.

"Utah's growth is validation that we are doing things right," said Gov. Herbert. "Our quality of life and sound economy are attracting people from around the world who are seeking opportunity."

As early as Monday, Oct. 19, crews plan to shift southbound I-15 out of the lane split under Bangerter Highway. The two left lanes will be shifted onto new concrete pavement for the first time.
